🔒 Core principle: Audit Apply processes all documents entirely in your browser. No files, no financial data, and no personal information is ever uploaded to any server.

1. Who We Are

Audit Apply (auditapply.com) is a free, browser-based compliance tool suite designed for Indian Chartered Accountants and finance professionals. It is developed and maintained as a free-forever service.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

Usage analytics (via Google Analytics): Page views, session duration, country, and browser type. This data is anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
No financial or document data: PDF files, Excel files, bank statements, and any data you process using our tools are handled 100% locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

3. Cookies

We use only Google Analytics cookies (first-party) to understand usage patterns. These cookies do not contain any financial data or personal information beyond a randomly generated session ID.

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Client-Side Processing (Zero Upload Policy)

All tools including PDF Merge, PDF Split, Digital Signature, Bank Statement Ingestor, GSTR-2B Reconciliation, and all Compliance Calculators operate entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Your files and data:

Are never uploaded to any server
Are never stored in any database
Are never accessed by us or any third party
Are automatically cleared when you close the browser tab

5. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics: Used for page-level usage statistics only.
Google Fonts: Font files are loaded from Google's servers. Your IP address may be logged by Google per their privacy policy.
CDN Libraries (unpkg, cdnjs, jsDelivr): JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js etc.) are loaded from these CDNs. They may log anonymous request metadata.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal or financial data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA configuration.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not store personal data, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are inherently satisfied. For any questions about Google Analytics data, you may contact Google directly.
